The Municipal Clerk serves as secretary to the governing body, and is custodian of all minutes, ordinances, resolutions and archival records of the municipality.  The Municipal Clerk's Office issues dog licenses, social affairs permits, raffle and bingo licenses, tennis court keys and vendor permits.  

In addition, the Municipal Clerks office is the Chief Registrar of Voters.  Our residents can obtain Voter Registration Forms, Absentee Ballot Applications and Party Affiliation Declaration Forms from the office or online at Voter Registration at NJ Elections or call toll free 1-877-NJVOTER (1-877-658-6837).  You can register to vote if you meet the following requirements:

You are a United States Citizen
You will be 18 years of age by the next election
You will be a resident of the State and County 30 days before the election
You are NOT currently serving a sentence, probation or parole because of a felony conviction.

The Municipal Court of Logan Township handles traffic summonses issued by the Logan Township Police Department, the DRPA officers of the Commodore Barry Bridge and the New Jersey State Police.  The court also hears cases involving criminal charges, disorderly person offenses, drug charges, citizen complaints and violations of municipal ordinances.

Memorial Day Yard Waste & Trash/Recycling will be picked up May 29th
Independence Day Trash/Recycling will be picked up July 3rd
Labor Day Yard Waste & Trash/Recycling will be picked up Sept 4th
Thanksgiving No Bulk pick up on November 23rd
Christmas 2018 Trash/Rec will be picked up on December 26th
New Years Day 2019 Trash/Rec will be picked up on January 2nd, 2019

During the month of March, tires will be collected.

Metal is picked up the 1st & 3rd Friday of every month.
Bulk is picked up the 2nd & 4th Friday of every month 
TV's and Computer parts are picked up on the 2nd Wednesday of every month only.

MOTOR OIL can be disposed of by appointment only by calling Logan Twp Public Works Department at 467-0859.

Due to a change in State regulations for Gloucester County, please be advised that the appeal filing deadline has changed. Appeals must be filed between Novermber 15, 2018 and January 15, 2019. You may contact the Gloucester County Board of Taxation location at 1200 N Delsea Drive, Bldg A, Clayton, NJ (856-307-6448) or visit the county website - - Departments - "B" for Board of Taxation - Forms - A1 - Appeals. In addition, Chapter 75 post cards will be mailed on or before November 15, 2018.


The Logan Township Tax Collector now has a drop box outside the office in the event you visit the Municipal Building to pay your taxes and the office is closed.

The Tax list and Tax maps are available to the public during regular business hours. Also, Tax information for all Gloucester County municipalities including Logan Township can be found at:

All taxes are due on a quarterly basis throughout the year as follows: 
February 1st/ May 1st/ August 1st/ November 1st.
Logan allows a ten (10) day grace period.  After the 10th day interest will be calculated back the first of the month.
There are special deductions available for our Senior Citizens/Veterans/Disabled persons.
